A bit of previous....

Shown here is an MXR Dyna Comp clone i built for myself. It contains one of those lovely and expensive CA3080 operational transconductance amplifiers, and adds a nice amount of sustain and sponginess (is that even a word?)

This is the standard sized box i will be using for future projects, the dimensions of which are (L x W x H) 102 x 70 x 38 mm

Shown on the left are a Electro Harmonix LPB-1 Booster and a DOD 250 Overdrive. Both are built to original specifications, except i have added a switch on the DOD for more gain. They are delightfully housed in LUSH soap tins provided by/stolen from my girlfriend.

The beginning

Hello, and welcome to the DPTronics Blog.

This blog has been created to allow you, the general public to keep in touch with the exciting goings on of my electronics workbench.

I am currently building a few of my own designs as well as cloning some of those sought after ridiculously overpriced pedals that plague the market. Of course these clones will much cheaper than the ones on the market.

All pedals are built using the highest quality components and housed in solid metal boxes. They also come with a warranty.
